When copying files, Android does not keep the original creation date. This generally does not matter, except for photos and videos, since it completely disorganizes the gallery. Fortunately, it is generally possible to retrieve the creation date and thus restore the gallery. That is what this application does automatically. The application does not touch files and, in particular, does not change its date. Just correct the MediaStore database so that the images and videos are displayed correctly in the gallery.
